HOW TO MAKE FACEBOOK MORE SECURE:

Privacy settings:
When logged in on FB, look at the top right corner of your window, click on "account", click on "privacy settings", click on "friends only" (to be more secure) or friends of friends (less secure). Then go to bottom left of page, under "applications and websites" click "edit your settings", next to "instant personalization" click "edit settings", "uncheck" enable "instant personalization on partner websites", then click "back to applications", then go to bottom of page, next to "public search" click "edit settings", "uncheck" enable "public search". These steps will help you make Facebook more secure and private, especially from Internet search engines. Remember to never share too much personal information, such as your address and phone number...don't make it easy for identity thieves!
